I am fan of those that can take things and transform them into something amazing. This is the case of Kutiman.
Ophir Kutiel is Kutiman, is a musician, composer, producer and animator from Israel. He is best known for creating the viral phenomenon “Thru-You,” and that is what I am going to show you guys today.
In 2009 Kutiman released Thru-You, an online music video project mixed from samples of YouTube videos. After disclosing his work to just twenty friends, Kutiman’s project spread virally across the web, racking up more than one million views in less than a week.
His work is really amazing and has a lot of potential for future artists that need new ways (or reuses old ways) to create new content.
