The dancing banana is often used in forums and the way to type it in is :banana: and it transformed into other vegetables and popular characters.
The Dancing Banana soon made its way to television shows and began to appear as an icon in American pop culture. The dancing banana originally featured in www.funfilesandsmiles.com along with the other ‘dancing emotions’. Sadly the website is dead.
The Dancing Banana then became a really funny flash animation in the early 2000s and became an instant classic. Using the song title “It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time!!!” recorded by DJ Chipman of the Buckwheat Boyz has the Banana dancing all over the place.
