Absolut is known to do great advertising campaigns. It made the bottle become a modern icon. They have a tradition of putting the bottle of the absence of the bottle followed by a witty caption. For years they have selected themes for the campaigns.
They have artists themed, or focusing on the bottle, cities, flavors, the list goes on and on, and they are always very good.
This time around they launched a new campaign called “in an Absolute World”. It is a campaign where each artists or personalitie gives their vision of an “Absolut World”. The first installment features Kanye West. The campaign started like a joke, with some infomercials featuring Kanye offering a tablet that will turn anyone into him. A lot of people knew that it was a joke, but the fail to associated with Absolut Vodka. The campaign also involves subway ads like the one shown below.
