Virgin Galactic is owned by Richard Branson, who owns the Virgin group. Richard is one of those dreamers and his dream is to make space travel affordable for the regular guy.
To fulfill his dream Richard created Virgin Galactic. It is the first world spaceline that will operate its own privately built spaceships.
The first step into this amazing journey was the development of SpaceShipOne. It was the first space flight done by a non-professional astronaut. Here is the footage.

Recently the WhiteKnightTwo finished its first maiden flight. This is the plane that will launch SpaceShipTwo.
