While I was visiting Buenos Aires last week I heard that Crystal Castles was coming to Creamfields. I got a little jealous since I will miss it, but I decided to write about it anyway because they are really good.
Crystal Castles is band from Toronto, like MSTRKRFT, that released their first album in April 2008. They are duo and they got their name from She-Ra. Crystal Castle is She-Ra’s Greyskull. Anyway, Crystal Castels is composed by Ethan Kath and Alice Glass. In 2005 they recorded a demo called “Alice Practice” and released through MySpace and from there they got signed.
On stage they are totally crazy as well. They performed at the Glastonbury Festival in June 2008, where the on-stage antics of Glass which included her climbing the stage rigging and constantly stage-diving, led to the organizers curtailing their set. So I guess it will be totally fun to see them (again Jealous!)
