  • I feel it closing in

As patterns seem to form. In this blog we like to pay homage to great Artists. In this occasion I would like to congratulate Anton Corbjin and his latest homage to Ian Curtis. His movie “Control” focuses on Ian’s life from a schoolboy to his death. The movie cinematography is amazing, as everyone can expect from someone like Anton Corbjin. The movie is entirely in black and white since Corbjin’s photographies of the band are black and white. Corbjin felt that doing the movie like this is paying homage to the band and to Ian.

Corbjin it is a talented photographer/director that worked with most of the greatest bands in the world and created some of the most iconic images in rock and roll. He did the cover for U2’s “The Joshua Tree” and directed the videoclip “Enjoy The Silence” by Depeche Mode.

Here is an interview where he talks about the movie.
