With thousands of services out there that allow you to listen to new music and discover new artists, there is one that caught my attention. It is called “The Feel Good Initiative”. They began a few years ago under the same premise this website works. We do a post a day, everyday. They did a song a day, everyday. But down the road, users started to send theirs songs, so they can be posted (by the way, we want the same from you!). That is when they went and opened the site to what it is today. I can login and register and have my channel or I can browse the thousands of channels that are there.
This is how they define themselves
In a sushi restaurant you can request omakase, which means that you entrust yourself to the taste and choice of the sushi chef. He will present his finest meal, but you will not have a voice in its preparation.
The Feel Good Initiative is omakase for music. We help you find musical chefs worthy of your attention and you can entrust your ears to them as they take you on an acoustic trip, each one of them sharing a fine song with you daily.
The Feel Good started when we (andr and mgPePe) began sharing our favourite music on the Internet, one song per day. Soon, our friends started sending more and more music that they wanted us to post on the site. When we decided to let each one of them open their own Feel Good channel, the site that you see today was born.
They have some good things. When you create your own channel, you start uploading the songs you like, but then, you can create a podcast of your channel, or any other channel and have it on the go.
Go ahead an enjoy it.
