Last night I watched Knowing and had a pleasant discovery about it. I wanted to watch that movie because I was intrigued by it. I am not a fan of Nicolas Cage, but the name of the movie, the movie poster and a the plot interested my.
During the opening credits I discovered that it was directed by Alex Proyas, and that name rang a bell. So I googled him and he is the director to two of my favorite movies: The Crow and Dark City.
So this is officially the Alex Proyas series.
He was born on September 23, 1963 in Australia, land of Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman and many others not so talented actors. Thank god Alex Proyas IS a talented director.
He started his career filming a couple of music videos.

Anyway, later on he made the transition into feature films where he had a major success with his second movie The Crow and then gathered a little bit of a cult following (including me!) with Dark City. Finally he got another two major blockbusters with I, Robot and Knowing
